LETZTE DINGE

Installation:

Skizzenhafter Nachbau der Inneneinrichtung des Alten Hauptzollamtes der Stadt Frankfurt am Main mit Gipskartonplatten kurz vor dem Abbruch des Gebäudes.

Sozialer Ort wird durch Nutzung der modellhaften Rekonstruktion für verschiedene Anlässe (öffentliche Essen, einen Flohmarkt, Konzerte, Filmvorführungen etc.) reaktiviert.

"Letzte Dinge" bezieht sich auf den Roman "Im Land der letzten Dinge" (dt. 1992) des amerikanischen Autors Paul Auster.

LETZTE DINGE (LAST THINGS)

installation:

Sketchy replica of the interior of the Old Main Customs Office of the City of Frankfurt am Main with plasterboard shortly before the demolition of the building.

Social place is reactivated by using the model reconstruction for various occasions (public meals, a flea market, concerts, film screenings, etc.).

"Last Things" refers to the novel "In the Country of Last Things" (1987) by American author Paul Auster.
